合作教授简介：Jack A. Goldstone (PhD Harvard) is the Virginia E. and John T. Hazel Professor of Public Policy at George Mason University, and a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution.  Previously, Dr. Goldstone was on the faculty of Northwestern University and the University of California, and has been a visiting scholar at Cambridge University and the California Institute of Technology.  He is the author of Revolution and Rebellion in the Early Modern World, awarded the 1993 Distinguished Scholarly Research Award of the American Sociological Association; Why Europe? The Rise of the West in World History; and nine other books as well as over one hundred research articles on topics in politics, social movements, democratization, and long-term social change.  He has appeared on NPR, CNN, Al-Jazeera, Fox News, and written for Foreign Policy, The Atlantic, the Washington Post, Al-Hayat and the International Herald Tribune.

主讲人简介：窦正斌，副教授，主要从事公共管理、公共政策等方向的教学和研究工作。先后主持江苏省社会科学规划基金、中国行政管理学会、江苏省办办公厅重点规划课题、南京航空航天大学出版基金以及党建基金等项目；发表学术论20余篇。2007年7月至10月赴澳大利亚斯维本、黑尔本大学访学；2013年8月至2014年8月赴美国乔治梅森大学访学。
