主讲人简介：

Prof. Dr. Pablo M.J. Mendes de Leon is Professor of Air and Space Law, Ph.D. Supervisor, Head of Department and Executive Chair of the Department of Air and Space Law at Leiden University, The Netherlands, Director of the International Institute of Air and Space Law (IIASL) of Leiden University, and President of European Air Law Association (EALA). The IIASL, founded by the faculty of law of Leiden University in 1986, is one of the leading international scientific research and teaching institutes in the world, specialized in legal and policy issues regarding aviation and space activities. Prof. Dr. Mendes de Leon lectures public international air law, private international air law and competition law in the advanced LL.M. programme of the institute and he is also a speaker at many conferences on international aviation. He is the author of a large number of publications on topical issues regarding aviation law and policy, a Board Member of the magazines Air and Space Law, Journal of Air Law and Commerce and Italian ANIA Insurance Newsletter, and Series Editor of the book series “Aviation Law and Policy” published by Kluwer Law International. In addition to his duties as Director of the institute, Prof. Dr. Mendes de Leon maintains memberships in organisations that work to combine air and space law and education including:
